The long version:

I have been a henna artist for about 10 years. I began my business about 2007 years ago, first doing henna body art at festivals and fairs. Later, as I became more confident, I began to add library and school presentations. I acquired my ICNHA  certification, and added parties, events, and even bridal work to list of services.. In 2004 I  began to sell henna and other body art supplies from my website and on ebay. That business grew very slowly over the years, and unfortunately was never profitable enough to me any more than self-sustaining. In October of 2009 I decided to close the shop to focus more on my art. At that time I also took up work for Mehandi.com answering customer questions about using henna and other natural hair dyes. I also took up soap making for the same company.

Henna Muse is more than just myself though! My assistant, Danya Krisjanis helps me with festivals and many larger jobs. She also takes independent work in and near Toledo Ohio. I also work with a network of other talented, independent henna artists from all over the region. By working together we can accommodate almost any need.
